CPH Chemicals involvement and activities in chemicals goes back to the late eighties, as a division of BV Chemie Pharmacie Holland, which was up to 1985 wholly owned by the New York based Trading house Philipp Brothers (Phibro).

CPH Chemicals, in a management buy out became independent in 1999, where it developed the traditional business of marketing and distribution of a large range of chemical products.
